We started off in Key West, Florida selling handmade furniture and photography, until we decided that we had enough "island time" and packed up and headed for Colorado. Crested Butte was our destination as I lived here a few years back and decided that I would make it my home one day. 

Lauren had the task of hauling her two boys, Victor and Nikolai, and her 16 year old feline across this great nation of ours, while I had the privilege of going ahead to locate a place to live and some steady employment, as I have lived here before I figured it wouldn't be an excruciatingly daunting undertaking, and I was right, immediately I got my job back on the mountain at the famous Avalanche Bar and Grill and found a beautiful townhome in Gunnison, where we currently reside. Shortly after arriving, Lauren and the boys fell in love with Colorado and the way of living it offers. You can find her most morning brewing up your favorite cup at The Bean in Gunnison, the fat cat, Guz, is also very happy being a Colorado-Kitty.

After purchasing a small mixer we started baking everything from scratch and our love for knowing every ingredient in everything we eat naturally paired with our love for baking and Hibbard and Hudson Bakery was destined for our lives. Our dream is to one day open a homestead and bakery that also houses our storefront for everything from jams and jellies to our homemade farmer's cheeses and everything you could possible think of. You can tell this is our passion, and we want to include you in our wonderful way of living. Hope you enjoy.
